SocialPepperParticipantHi,
It is the first time for me using the X theme, so I am reading and viewing the Cornerstone text and videos (I am used to visual composer but hey, I like a new challenge). I would like to experiment with the setup of my homepage and would like to have a slide like in the Renew demo. Trying to upload a demo slide from the revolution slider does not seem to work (I do not have an activation code).
How can I easily fix this?
Thansk for helping out (and I will probably be back soon 🙂
Regards,
Richard

Nabeel AModeratorHi Richard,
Thanks for writing in! Have you tried downloading the slider demos from https://revolution.themepunch.com/free-slider-exchange/ I tested on my setup and it’s working fine.
Cheers!

SocialPepperParticipantHi Nabell,
Thanks for your help! It worked.
Another question I have is if it is already possible to add a revolution component in Cornerstone. I only found in this forum that you have to add the shortcode to a text widget. Is that correct?

Richard

ThaiModeratorHi Richard,
Revolutions Slider element has already been added to Cornerstone(make sure you had activated the Revolutions Slider plugin):

SocialPepperParticipantHi,
Thank you, I saw that option. Unfortunately I get the message:
Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias news-gallery-post-based1 not found.
Maybe you mean: ‘Brixton-hero’ —> That is the demoslider I imported, which I can see in the revolution slider plugin. Please see attached screenshot.

SocialPepperParticipantHi,
Thanks! I think I needed to delete and add the revolution slider component first. Now it seems to work!
Thanks!

SocialPepperParticipantHi,
Is there a way to set the slider that it fits the section? Now it covers the whole page full width.

Richard

Paul RModeratorHi Richard,
Please select Auto Slide Layout instead of full screen.
Then turn off column container of your row element.
Hope that helps.
