    Hi,

    I purchased cornerstone and later found out I need X theme. But X theme comes with Cornerstone, because I already have cornerstone can I buy only X theme without buying cornerstone again.

    Right now all I need is to buy a theme and use it with cornerstone but I can’t find where to buy the X theme without cornerstone.

    Can you share a link where I can purchase X theme without Cornerstone.

    Hi There,

    Thanks for writing in! The standalone Cornerstone can be use on any theme even on the WordPress default theme (twenty sixteen), it is not necessary to have x|theme to run this standalone Cornerstone.

    X|Theme will always bundle the Cornerstone because that is require to run the x|theme.

    Ok I understand. Because I purchased Cornerstone alone, Can I pay the difference and get x theme with cornerstone?
    Or is it better to refund my purchase for cornerstone and buy it with again with X theme?

    Also what the difference using X Theme compare to other WordPress Themes? I am losing some features if I use Themes other than X Theme?

    Hi There,

    Yes, you can try ask for a refund on Envato since they handle all the transaction.

    Different themes offers different feature. Check out our sales page to see what feature that X offers. Since you’re planning to utilise the Cornerstone then go for X.

    Hi Nahila,

    Cornerstone is a free bundled plugin and it’s always bundled in X theme. You’re actually just paying the theme, but with free plugins 🙂

    If you’re not planning to use cornerstone, then you may choose not to, but, it should stay active. You can also disable it for each post type at Admin > Cornerstone > Settings, but again, cornerstone plugin should stay active for X theme to work properly.
