Hello Xtheme special forces.From what i saw around the forum there is no chance for a button from cornerstone to appear on a video from revolution slider. What could i do if i wanted the button on question with a video?

I’m sorry for not being clear…I want to put a video on the background and the button that you provide in cornerstone. The issue is that i have put the video through revolution slider which doesnt let me import the button you provide in cornerstone but instead it has a native button which doesnt meet my needs..

How can i have my video played with the button you provide in cornerstone? I dont necessarily want to achieve this result with revolution slider only.. 🙂

Thanks for clarifying. Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities. Thanks for understanding. Take care!

I understand.. But what actually is in the realm of xtheme support is how to put the background video without revolution slider

Hi there,

Thanks for posting in.

First check this about the revolution slider, https://theme.co/x/member/kb/sliders/. This should help you started with sliders. Then your slider must be transparent if you wish to add background video.

To add video background, you can simply go to page section where you set your slider( Eg. Slider Settings : Below Masthead ). In case you can’t find that section, then you many enable it at Screen Options on top of the page you’re currently editing.

Then set your background image and poster image.

And about the menu highlights, you can check this https://theme.co/x/member/kb/how-to-setup-one-page-navigation/. It’s default behaviour of one page navigation.
