    Having now installed Buddy Press and BBPress, my menu has now decided to place the expanded items from the Forum, Profile and Search icons…

    And I have no idea how to fix it.

    Suggestions welcome.

    Hello Andy,

    Please try to add this CSS on Appearance > Customize > Custom > Edit Global CSS:

    body {
     overflow-x: initial;
    }

    I can see that Ubermenu is now active. Please note that by default, ubermenu will replace your primary menu when it is active. Can you please also clarify the issue? If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on how the menu should be (perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

    Ok, so basically, by installing bbPress and Buddy Press I’d be expecting “some” links to allow users to visit the forum and/or log in/out. The icons I’ve seen are a small speech bubble and a simple icon representing a person. Assuming the first icon would be to visit the forum and the second to access the Buddy Press sie of the site.

    Nope…. nothing visible at all.

    Upon original installation and activation, said icons were originally there, but with all the sub items also visible (hence breaking the menu).

    I’ve attempted to uninstall both the bbPress and Buddy Press plugins and then re-install to attempt to re-create the problem and can’t get any icons on the menu to show up at all now…

    Regards
    Andy

    Adding further – n00b moment. Re-enabled the nav bar options and have recreated the initial problem of seeing a lot of links that aren’t needed regarding bbPress and Buddy Press on the menu. As Uber menu is installed and clearly working, where can I adjust these menu items – for the life of me I can’t find them anywhere

    Hi There,

    You can edit your menu under Appearance > Menus and icon is showing up on your menu. Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain of the issue. Please clarify what you’re trying to do.

    We’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

    Thanks.
