I use slider revolution fairly heavily on my site and since updating to the latest x theme including the new slider revolution various bugs have shown up:
    – text doesn’t show in sliders
    – can’t access various settings on the settings tab
    – glitchy when hovering over the dynamic settings etc. tabs

The error that comes up when I load the site is:

“Revolution Slider Error: You have some jquery.js library include that comes after the revolution files js include.
This includes make eliminates the revolution slider libraries, and make it not work.

    To fix it you can:
    1. In the Slider Settings -> Troubleshooting set option: Put JS Includes To Body option to true.
    2. Find the double jquery.js include and remove it.”

I’ve tried option one but can’t even access this option.

    The url is http://www.exetea.com.au, WordPress 4.5.2, X version 4.5.1, Cornerstone 1.2.4

    Hello There,

Thanks for the updates! I am not sure if I am on the right directory when I logged in to your ftp. I could not see the other installed plugins. Could you please manually reinstall Slider Revolution plugin? You can get the latest file by downloading the x_package.zip from ThemeForest Download’s section.

Please let us know how it goes.

I’ve manually reinstalled and have had no result. The directory should be /var/www/html/wp-content/

    Hi Josh,

I am no expert here but have you tried :

i had the same problem! But i managed to solve it.

There is a problem with the revslider.zip, which is comming with the x-package, because if you unzip it, in revslider/public/assets/ is still the asset.zip. So you have to unzip it and load it manually to your webspace to the appropriate place.

    Best

    I hope this helps

    Hi,
I’ve also been having this issue on our site since updating to the newest version of the theme. I’ve managed to carry out the fix above which has got the slider back displaying on the site (thank you for posting this fix Steve). I still get a 403 when logging in or trying to use any of the admin dashboard. Anybody know why this is? Any known fixes? It’s the same for all users that we have on the site. Thanks

The 403 Forbidden HTTP status code indicates that the client was able to communicate with the server, but the server will not let the client access what was requested.

This response is returned by the Apache web server when directory listings have been disabled.

    one thing to try
add this line to .htaccess at top of file (where wordpress is installed)

    DirectoryIndex index.php

if that doesn’t work, you’ll need to speak to host about it.

    Hope that helps.
