    I have a weird issue on a website at the moment whereby the breadcrumbs on the site have not been edited but are showing the path to a woocommerce product – ON EACH PAGE. It wont change and I have inspected the code for each page and the post id in each page is changing as appropriate.

    I’ve tried copying breadcrumbs.php over to a child theme and editing but the theme is not responding to this – I’m reluctant to edit the original as I may make things worse. Please help!

    Wordpress version 4.6.1
    URL: caliber-kitchens.co.uk (currently under maintanence mode)
    X Theme 4.6.4 (child theme downloaded from theme.co)
    Cornerstone version 1.3.3

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the credentials. I have tried to switch to X from your Child Theme for a while and it was fine – http://prntscr.com/ddpndv

    Sp clearly the issue is with your Child Theme. If you have any code for breadcrumbs then kindly remove them from Child Theme and check again. If you need to overwrite the breadcrumbs, you will find the reference on /framework/functions/global/breadcrumbs.php but you can’t copy the file to your Child Theme rather need to overwrite through functions.php.

    Now kindly remove the code you have added to get it back.

    Hi,

    This child theme is the one which comes with the theme (downloaded off theme.co). Has anyone else reported this?

    Hi Anthony,

    Thanks for writing back. I know you are using our CHild Theme and there is no issue with Child Theme if you didn’t edit anything. But usually Child Theme is for customization and if that goes wrong then the issue arise. So let us know if you did change the breadcrumbs file or added any other function that eventually changing the breadcrumbs functionality.

    Hope this makes sense.
