I am very new to X. I haven’t even started customizing anything. I literally paid for it, set it up on a demo url for now and installed the Ethos demo layout so I can play with it when I have time. I tried to import my blogger blog and I’m getting this error: “Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /home/content/a2pnexwpnas03_data03/31/3414831/html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/incl”
I literally went to my blogger, clicked the “backup site” link which created the xml file (this replaced the old “export” option) and then imported it using the blogger plugin. HELP!!! I need all of my old blog content on to my new blog so that I can customize and have it all set up for a smooth transition when I re-launch my site!!

It sounds like you might be having an issue with a third party plugin or script. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.

I haven’t added ANY additional third party plugins. I literally installed the X theme Ethos and tried to import my Blogger. Any plugins I have now are ones that the X Theme installed after i purchased it.

Sorry for the confusion. Blog import really isn’t a theme issue as it’s handled by core WordPress. Now if you try switching to a default theme (the ones that come with a basic WordPress install), and your blog doesn’t work, then it will have to do with your import process. It may be that the plugin you are using to import blogger is not yet up to date with the latest WordPress, or something is just incompatible with your old site and the new one you are trying to create.
Now if when switching to the default theme and everything works, you can try switching back to X to see if that fixes the issue, if the issue remains when switching back to X, then something is conflicting between your old site and X.
In that case, would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
