Hello again,
I have tried to follow the instructions for similar questions in the Forum and cannot get a new right sidebar in News & Events to show. (Most of the names used in Forum directions appear to have been changed so not sure)
1. In Appearance>Sidebar created sidebar
2. In Widgets>Added and customized Widgets
3. In Customizer>Style,Standard>Layout,GlobalHow now?
PS: I will add login in privacy mode if you could take a look under the hood.

Thanks for writing in! I have checked and it seems you didn’t select the content layout to any sidebar layout from Customize rather using Fullwidth layout. Let’s change this from Customize > Layout and Design and it will work fine as you can see here – http://prntscr.com/cvunxp
I am keeping this settings so that you can check.

Duh, I am so embarrassed. I checked your screenshot, and that is how it is set. I understand that you left it that way so I could see how it was set. But no amount of tinkering with those settings creates the sidebar as illustrated in your screenshot.
BTW, as I assume you know, I only want to right sidebar to appear on the News & Events page.
One more time at explaining it for the dumbo please.

I Cleared cache for the whole site, and then Preloaded cache in WP Rocket.
When I reactivated the WP Rocket plugin, the sidebar no longer appears on the News & Events Page.
How now brown cow?
PS: If I deactivate WP Rocket the sidebar reappears, and then goes away when activated.
I have left it activated so that you can view the no sidebar version.
