wspragueParticipantI would like to have some of my blog posts show up on my page titled ‘sports blog’ which is my assigned page for posts but I would like some of my blog posts to show up in my page titled ‘sports convo’ and not in ‘sports blog’. I read some other questions on this but they were over my head, i’m fairly new to all of this. I know how to assign categories to posts but where is the category archive “page”? would that be another “page” like sports blog and sports convo or am I miss understanding that?

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing in! You can use Category. Category page is not a traditional page rather archive page. You can set the categories to menu from Appearance > Menus – http://prntscr.com/be5o60
Also you can use the Recent Posts elements and specify the categories to pull out the posts from specified categories. But using the first procedure would be convenient.
Hope this makes sense.

wspragueParticipantThis was very helpful thank you.
Is there a way to edit the category page and also my blog page with cornerstone? There is not a link at the top to edit with cornerstone on those pages. I tried Customizer but can’t find where to change the title of the category page.
Thank youJune 9, 2016 at 11:28 pm #1035260
LelyModeratorYou’re welcome!
Blog page and category pages are considered archive pages which can’t be edited using Cornerstone. Archive page content are controlled by templates and it’s style will depend on the stack you were using.
Hope this helps.
