    This disabled both featured image link and title link whatsoever. On minus side it also disabled on-hover effects, but if it’s the only way I think I can live with that.

    Unless You’ve got some idea how to prevent javascript:void(0); from being stripped, which I’ll gladly take too 😉

    Hi there,

    I’m not sure which one stripped it, but maybe WordPress itself. How about trying other variant? Like javascript:void( 1 ) or javascript:return false;.
