    Hi,

    For some reason the blog overview page layout is different from when you actually go into a blog post on my website:
    http://thecoachingdiva.org/write-it-down/
    vs
    http://thecoachingdiva.org/blog/

    The blog page has the layout I want (full-width, no “BLOG” title) and I would also like comments disabled on the post itself.

    Can you please advise a solution?

    Hello Matthew,

    Layout is different for single post page and blog index page because you might choose FULLWIDTH on Appearance > Customize > Blog > Layout. Please select Use Global Content Layout instead so blog index page will follow your content global settings under Layout and Design.

    To disable comments, go to Settings > Discussion.
