    Hi,
    This problem was mentioned earlier in two threads, but your answer is WRONG.

    First my problem:
    On the usual blog page, where you can see posts like with a small excerpt and the “read more” button, the theme strips all html from the excerpt.

    Where you are wrong: WordPress removes all html from the excerpt.

    Not true, if I switch to one of the default themes, all html elements work in the excerpt with it, so this is an issue with X.

    What can we do for this? How can we fix this in X?

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in! Are your referring to the Twenty Sixteen theme? It doesn’t display the excerpt. It displays the full content. If you want to display full content in your blog when using X, please go to the customizer, Appearance > Customize > Blog > Content and turn on the “Full Post Content on Index”.
