powrider686ParticipantHello,
On my blog, http://roadsidegal.wpengine.com/blog/, I can figure out how to get the main blog page to display properly. It shows the featured post at the top, then three more posts, but I cant figure out where those posts are coming from. They’re not the newest posts, don’t seem to be any different and I can’t control what appears on the main blog page. It should show the newest posts at the top of the list no?
Thanks for the help!

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
Provided credentials didn’t work. Please check check Customize -> Ethos -> Blog options and make sure the field ‘category IDs’ is empty.
Hope it helps.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for providing the information. To resolve this issue, please disable the Filterable Index. Enabling the filterable index will bypass the standard output of your blog page, allowing you to specify categories to highlight. Upon selecting this option, a text input will appear to enter in the IDs of the categories you would like to showcase. For more information about Ethos settings, please check this out: https://community.theme.co/kb/customizer-ethos/
Hope this helps.

powrider686ParticipantOk, got it.
Now it there a way for people to sort the blog? Like a filter for the categories?
Or to add a sidebar which could include the categories, recent posts, etc. It’s a nice looking blog but it is not easy to navigate :/
Thanks for the help!

You can add a sidebar in the blog page of Ethos.
Kindly follow the instructions on this link: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/sidebar-not-showing-on-posts-but-on-blog-home-page/
