The word BLOG is marked as H1.

I want to remove this h1 tag please.

Hi,

To remove it, create file _landmark-header.php in wp-content/themes/x-child/framework/views/renew
then copy the code below into that file.

Hi there,

Thanks for updating. Do you want to remove this completely or just need to change the h1 tag to another? Also do you want to remove for single post or category pages as well? Kindly let us know before we further inspect the code.

You can also accomplish this by CSS adding under Custom > CSS in the Customizer.

.single-post .h-landmark {
  display: none;
}

It will remove (hide) this from single posts.

The text BLOG can stay on the page. I just want to remove the h1 tag.

And i want it for all blog posts. I think it;s better to completely remove the heading tag instead of making it h2 or h3. Is that possible??

Upon checking this page:http://www.netbuddy.nl/website-laten-maken-haarlem/, I can see that child theme is not active. If you have updated above code on your child theme, please make sure that child theme is active.

what would be the appropriate code to use if I want to override the same element in “ETHOS”.

Also why would you choose to have 2 <h1> tags on one page? Isn’t that a big issue when it comes to SEO if any website?

This doesn’t apply to Ethos as it only has 1 h1.

Regarding SEO, in the past yes, it has some bad effect but now that search algorithms are better and HTML5 is widely supported, this doesn’t have an impact.
