    I have the “Full Post Content on Index” option set (homepage) and would like to insert a “Read More” function at about 50% the content, to limit what is shown on my index page.

    On the archive/ custom links, I have set to display except only. I don’t want it to look like this on the homepage. I want the same formatting of the “blog post” but say 50% the length.

    I would also like to know, can you set the “full post content on Index” to only display when visiting the site using a desktop. For tablets and mobiles can you set it to display excerpt only?

    Hi There,

    Thanks for writing in! Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

    hi Can you confirm which query you are responding in relation to? The read more function? or, the second query relating to how the index page displays on Mobiles.
