LobsterassParticipantHola rockstars!
I’m working hard to seo optimize my big site the best way possible. Since I create the most seo-friendly (but not user-friendly) H1:s in Yoast, I wonder if the H1 that the user sees on the page should actually be a H2 instead?
I have seen this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GIn5qJKU8VM and I get that it shouldn’t be harmful to have two H1:s. On my portfolio pages, I only have one headline frontend. Google likes to see at least one H2.
Example:
http://dev.monroedesign.se/portfolio/forpackningsdesign-av-burk My portfolio single page “Förpackningsdesign av Naturens D3 vitamin” has a seo-friendly H1 that reads something like “Packaging design tin can Stockholm – Monroe Design AB” backend in Yoast.
Should I make the frontend H1 “Förpackningsdesign av Naturens D3 vitamin” an H2 and not have a “real” visible H1 at all frontend? Then I get an H1 through Yoast and the H2 frontend, I’m thinking. I’m scared to get punished everywhere for not having any H1:s frontend.

JoaoModeratorHi There,
I would not worry about it.
You won´t get punished, just try to be honest.
Your most important content use an
<H1>never mind if you want it to make it look smaller. We have on Custom Headline Element the heading classes specially made for that.
Hope that helps

LobsterassParticipantHola!
OK! Thank you so much for your professional advice on this. 🙂
Yes, I absolutely LOVE how easy you guys have made it to style headlines of different classes in Cornerstone. Simply awesome.
