I could spend a couple days and and some money to figure this out but I am on a tight time crunch. I’m coming from Drupal Gardens who just announced they are shutting down at the end of July and I have to rebuild a pretty complex website and learn WordPress. I absolutely love X and Cornerstone so far and have made a lot of progress. Thank you! I’ve recommended both X and my host (Flywheel) to a lot of the Drupal people I know.
I do need a recommendation. I’ve used Revolution to make a full-width slider and it looks great. What I need next is a carousel with captions below the images (prefer full screen width and responsive of course). The images for this slider are all the same height (198px) but various widths (148-163px).
I see that Revolution, LayerSlider, Soliloquy and Envira potentially all have this ability but it looks as if I would have to purchase addons which don’t appear to be available with the X license. I don’t want to just chase this by throwing money at all of them to test but I would spend to upgrade the “right” one. Ideally I’d like to stick with one so I can really learn it.
The next recommendation would be for Instagram feeds. I see, again, that these will potentially handle that with an upgrade but I have a complicated problem. I have 30 employees who each have a page on our site and each one will have their own Insta feed on their page. It looks like Instashow and Smashbaloon will do this but, again, I would rather default to one slider if possible.
Which slider would you estimate would be the best for a carousel with captions below (as licensed and/or with upgrade)?
Which slider would handle the Instagram feed (I DO have logins to get access tokens for each of the employee accounts if I need them as I did for June API updates with the Drupal module I was using).
