Sam DParticipantGood day. running X version 4.5.1 on wordpress 4.5.2, cornerstone Version 1.2.4. bbpress reports version Version 2.6-alpha. BBpress was installed via the X Addons Approved Plugins list.
I attached an image of the text area with no toolbar. Note, when the theme is switched to twenty sixteen, the toolbar shows up. The absence of the toolbar is confirmed on safari, chrome and firefox browsers. The absence of the tool bar is also missing for all user roles including administrators.
The URL is http://solosection.com
Thank you for your help

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
It seems that you’re using an alpha version of bbPress. Could you please try downgrading it to an X compatible version v2.5.8 as mentioned on our version compatibility information (https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/).
Let us know how it goes.

Sam DParticipantI originally had bbPress 2.5.9 installed when I read the compatibility note. That’s when I uninstalled 2.5.9 and installed through the X console which gave me the 2.6 alpha. I can’t find 2.5.8 anywhere to download. I put 2.5.9 back on. If you can find 2.5.8, I’ll install that instead, but I think either way, the tool bar is not going to show up.

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
First of all, you can check for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Also to download the older version, please check the following link (https://wordpress.org/plugins/bbpress/developers/).
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!June 9, 2016 at 9:53 pm #1035179
Sam DParticipantDeactivated all plugins, downgraded to bbPress to 2.5.8, Deleted all bbPress data, problem is still there. It has to be the skin. See attached screenshots

Sam DParticipantwow. I would have looked for years and never found that. It wasn’t the skin after all. My apologies.
