    Hi.

    My background video suddenly stopped working for some reason. Cornerstone is active, and I dont have the x-shortcodes plugin installed. I have my Youtube link placed in: Optional Background Video.

    WordPress 4.6 running X theme.

    Embedded code couldn’t be set as background video. Background video file should be a direct link.

    Still cant make it work. I have tried the URL link, share link and the embedded link.

    Sorry for the confusion. The Optional Background Video does not accept Youtube or any third party video services. It accepts direct video link (i.e. http://www.leva-urbandesign.no/video.mp4).

    Hi,

    No, this is not a new feature, it only accepts direct video link from the start.

    eg. https://06-lvl3-pdl.vimeocdn.com/01/3730/4/118652789/332816308.mp4?expires=1471878352&token=00d4eecbf9b8f0c161efe

    You may download your youtube video and upload it to your site.
