Manny CostalesParticipantHi, the video used as a background is not playing automatically, instead, I have to click on the right side of the section in order to start the video.
Also, if the video is not playing, I don’t see my thumbnail, so, what is the purpose of putting it?
This is the URL to my website http://mgm.jump2web.com/January 17, 2017 at 10:34 pm #1334508

LelyModeratorHi There,
Thank you for the credentials. I did try to login and check but then you page is not loading in Cornerstone so I can’t see your setup at the moment:
You can try adding this in your wp-config.php located at the root directory of your site.
define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' ); define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '512M' );You can add it before the line
/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

Manny CostalesParticipantDone!

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for updating. I have checked and found that you have just placed a YouTube URL. You are supposed to place a video URL that’s hosted somewhere. If you want to sue YouTube video background then you need to sue Revolution Slider.
Hope this makes sense.

Manny CostalesParticipantIn reality, it doesn’t have too much sense.
Anyway, what do you recommend? I’m not going to use Rev Slider, I really don’t like that plugin.
Do you think is OK if I upload the video to my hosting?January 18, 2017 at 12:58 pm #1335460
RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing back. It’s simple that you need a real video URL to use as video background. YouTube link is not actually a video URL. You can download the video and upload to your hosting and grab the URL.
Hope this make sense.

Manny CostalesParticipantHummm, don’t like the solution, but….
One more question, will this slow down my website?January 18, 2017 at 8:40 pm #1336111
LelyModeratorHello There,
If you’re hosting is a shared server, yes. Please check the following comparison:

Manny CostalesParticipantOK, I guess the best solution is to use Rev Slider.
ThanksJanuary 19, 2017 at 1:24 am #1336302
