    Please advise why my background is not white, whilst in customizer it is set in white.

    Hello Esther,

    Thanks for writing in! The background image is coming from the demo content in the customizer settings. To get rid of this background image, please go to the customizer, Appearance > Customize > Layout & Design > Background Options. You need to upload a background image and a background pattern. You can remove it afterwards. This is is just necessary so that you can update the background images in the option settings.

    Hope this make sense.
