    Hi,

    I’m trying to re-create an effect seen here on this page from Wired, please click on the link and scroll down to see the effect.

    Watch how the first full width image scrolls up with the text, and then fixes in place when it hits the navbar. Then the remaining text rolls over it and obscures it:

    Can I recreate this with background images in X?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in! It’s not actually a feature of X but you can try recreating this using the parallax effect and with some of you custom JS code. Unfortunately such customization would be out of our support scope.

    I’m no coding expert! Could you possibly point me in the direction of some JS code that might achieve this?

    Hi again,

    It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
