    Hello,

I just purchased X Theme and am playing around with adding a background image on a test web server i have. I would like to adjust the background image on the homepage. I want to actually control the width and height the image takes up on the home page. Similar to a strip across the page.

    Thanks,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

    Also please provide your URL.

    Thanks,

    Joao

Instead of having the background image take up the entire home page. I want it to be a strip similar to this:

Never mind I actually figured out how to use a Demo site.

Question, if I am setting this entire site up on a local workstation using a demo site configuration is there a way to move the entire site to an internet host package? Keep the layout and everything the same?

    Hi there,

We have a migration guide on our knowledge base section (https://community.theme.co/kb/cornerstone-migration/).

Also please go through the general WordPress migration here (https://community.theme.co/kb/hosting-how-to-migrate-your-wordpress-site/).

    Hope that helps.
