SheynoldsParticipantI’ve followed the instructions posted here…
https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/how-to-create-an-image-background-on-a-flip-card/
…and successfully added custom CSS to create multiple two sided card images. The cards work as designed in Chrome, Firefox and Edge, but not in Internet Explorer.
Internet Explorer simply flips or inverts the front side image and does not display the back side image.

ChristianModeratorHey there,
The Card element uses CSS 3 properties that are not supported in Internet Explorer. There is currently no solution to this. Please stay tuned for updates.
Thanks.

SheynoldsParticipantThanks Christian,
Are you able to give an estimated time frame for when there will be an update that provides an X Theme solution to address Internet Explorers lack of support for CSS 3 properties?
Thanks.

SheynoldsParticipantUnder F12 Emulation in Internet Explorer 11, if the document mode is set to 9, you have access to the back side image without the flipping motion. But I don’t know what other features that would break!

Rue NelModeratorHello Again,
Most of the CSS3 which is primarily the animation, transition, etc is not supported in IE9. It would only be good if you test the card element with Internet Explorer 11. Anything that would break in the document mode will not be the case when you are using IE11 because only IE11 fully supports CSS3 animations.
You can always check it here: http://caniuse.com/#search=transition
Hope this explains it.

SheynoldsParticipantAre X Theme developers working on a solution to provide visibility and access to the reverse side of the flip card and associated link address for Internet Explorer users?

NicoModeratorHi There,
We are currently working on this for better implementation because IE has too many issues. We’ll update this thread as soon as there is a better implementaion or solution for the problem in IE.
Thank you so much for understanding.
