VantagepointroofingParticipantHi there,
I have recently taken over a wordpress site with theme X and am slowly getting a handle on how everything works. Everything has been going smoothly until today when I logged on and I noticed these things:
– Initially I was unable to access the font/text editor as usual
– Then I was unable to access the visual composer after clicking ‘BACK END EDITOR’ and it seemed to be endlessly loading
– Now, the visual composer loads, but when I select ‘Add element’ ‘Add Row’ or ‘Add Template), clicking on the desired option has no effect.Things I have tried:
– Deactivating all plugins
– Updating WordPress (it says I have the latest version 4.5.2)
– Updating Theme X – for the life of me I can’t get it to do it…the link keeps saying ‘Oops this is embarrassing…’ and then when I try to manually upload the destination folder already contains the data (I’m hesitant to delete the current installation of Theme X – perhaps unwarranted?) I validated the product so updates would be automatic but I’m still getting the message that an update available)I’m sorry – I sound pretty useless and truthfully I am! Any help would be appreciated!

VantagepointroofingParticipantUpdate: I have managed to update the theme – but this has not improved my situation!

VantagepointroofingParticipantHi there,
This has of course solved the problem. I had tried multiple times to the day I was having trouble and it kept saying updated, but obviously something was awry. No matter though – sorted now!
Thanks!
