geminiyParticipantI re-validated my site, but no change. How do automatic updates work? If I click “Check Now” and a new version is available, it should automatically install immediately?

RupokMemberHi geminiy,
Thanks for updating. Automatic update should show the available update and prompt to update. So it seems not working properly for any reason (firewall, security settings etc.). Your given credentials not working anymore so can’t check the issue. However let’s update the theme manually for now. You can download the installable theme from themeforest or here – https://community.theme.co/dashboard/
You can just place the extracted theme folder x under wp-content/themes/ folder using FTP replacing the old theme folder.
Also please follow the installation video to understand it better – https://community.theme.co/kb/theme-installation/
Hope this helps.
Cheers!

Rue NelModeratorHello Mark,
Automatic updates doesn’t mean that if there is a new updates, it will automatically gets installed in your site. Automatic updates will display update notifications in your dashboard and later on you can proceed to update by manually clicking on the update link. In your case, since you have validated your X theme, you have to go to Dashboard > Updates and find the themes sections and update X theme. Please see the screenshot here: http://prntscr.com/bezpmr
To know more about automatic updates in WordPress, you can check it out here: https://www.siteground.com/tutorials/wordpress/auto-update.htm
Hope this helps.
