    My site is validated and has been. I have automatic updates enabled but they are not working. I’m also now missing a lot of previously installed plugins. Please help!!!

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in. Kindly go to the Addons page and scroll down to the bottom part and you will see the link to Revoke the validation. Click on the revoke link and then revalidate the site and see if it fixes the isee.

    Hey There,

    I can see that your licence is not validated properly somehow.

    Can you please try to revalidate it by revoking the licence and revalidating it again?

    Ok, I got re-validated and updated. The only thing that did not get updated is the LayerSlider WP and I keep trying it, and it says successful, but when I return to the plugin page, it says that it still need to be updated. Please see the screenshot.

    Also, earlier when I was having troubles upgrading, it was trying to use 4.5.0. Later when I checked again it used 4.5.1.

    Either way, once we get this LayerSlider worked out, I should be fine again.

    Hi There,

    Please disable all your security and cache plugins and try updating it again.

    In case that does not work, please uninstall LayerSlider and add it again trough WP-Admin Addons.

    Your slider data is stored on the database so you won´t lose anything.

    Nope, that didn’t do it. I also deleted the current LayerSlider via FTP and downloaded the latest package of X from Themeforrest and uploaded the LayerSlider again, and it’s still not updated. I’ve also seen others on here that have posted about this issue today.

    Are we sure the package from Themeforrest has the latest version?

    See what the Dashboard thinks is going on…

    Hi there,

    Thanks for updating. I can see X is not active on your site so couldn’t check the issue.

    However I have tried on my end and I can see the same issue on my end. So I think there is something wrong with the version number or something. I’ll forward this to our developer to check. Meantime you can try updating manually by downloading from themeforest if you don’t want to wait. You will find them in extensions folder.

    Sorry, I was doing some testing. X is live again.

    I did download this earlier and did a manual upload via FTP. Same issue. I think the package for that plugin was not updated.

    Just let me know.

    Hello There,

    I just spoke with the person in charge with out plugin repository. He just updated it. We also tested it in our local testing server. You should be able to update to the latest version now. And to save you from trouble, I went ahead and just hit the update button.

    If you need anything else we can help you with, don’t hesitate to open another thread.
