soundviewParticipantsoundviewglass.dev (soundviewglass.com)
WordPress 4.7
X Version: 4.1.0
Cornerstone Version 1.3.3X Theme appears to be validated for http://soundviewglass.com and dev site (local) http://soundviewglass.dev
Attempting to update yields an error (see 1.png); clicking the link ‘Validate X to enable automatic updates’ takes me to the screen pictured in (3.png).
I can manually update theme, but I lose some previous customizations. That is not a large concern, but I would like to be sure automatic updates are enabled in the future (and of course I will be working with a child theme).
Please help me enable automatic updates properly.

JoaoModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in! You should be able to update Cornerstone if you have X license validated.
Please do the following:
1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation.
2] Please login to your account and revoke the license. https://community.theme.co/my-account/
3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.your-domain.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again. Please check our our knowledge base to know how: https://community.theme.co/kb/updating-your-theme-and-plugins/
Hope this helps.

soundviewParticipantAccording to step 1, it looks as though I should be able to revoke validation through my WordPress site. I haven’t been able to do that.
When I go to X Addons > Home I get the message
Congratulations!
X is now installed (woo-hoo). Follow the steps below to validate your product, which unlocks automatic updates, additional Extensions, and more.Step 1: Register
To get started, register for access to the member center. This is where you’ll have access to all of our resources including the Knowledge Base, support forums, and much more.
Step 2: Get an API KeyOnce you have registered for access to the member center, go generate your product API key under the “Licenses” section. This key is used for automatic updates (tutorial here).
Step 3: ValidateAfter acquiring your product API key from the member center, enter it on the Product Validation page to start receiving automatic updates once they’re available.
However, when I attempt to validate, it fails, even after revoking and reassigning the license. (I can assign to the live site or the dev site, but I am not able to validate the dev site, even when I assign it as my DEVELOPMENT environment in “manage licenses”)

soundviewParticipantFor what it’s worth, I saw a different screen at X Addons > Home prior to updating than following the update.
Among other things, I saw no “revoke license” option prior to updating.
This topic seems to be resolved. You may close the ticket, thanks for your help.
