I have a bunch of links to post authors but whenever I click them they show the message: “Nothing to Show Right Now” and “It appears whatever you were looking for is no longer here or perhaps wasn’t here to begin with. You might want to try starting over from the homepage to see if you can find what you’re after from there.”

I looked in my child theme folder (I’m using the Renew design X theme) and do not see a template for an author page. Perhaps that’s what I’m missing?

I’ve looked all over and cannot find any other posts on this topic. Thanks for your assistance!

Hi There,

Author archive page use the default index page template.
Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password
– FTP credentials

Looks like related to NGINX’s permalink. https://codex.wordpress.org/Nginx

Configuration is different than standard .htaccess, how about contacting your hosting provider? You’ll have to configure it to match rewrites similar to .htaccess.

It’s not an Nginx issue. If you see the source, you can see it’s trying to render the author page. Still working on finding a cause. Thank you for your effort. Your team is always fast to investigate and respond, and I appreciate that.
