    Hi,

I have a lot of audio players on my website. As far as I have find out now, only two players do not work (al the others work fine).

This problem is only in Safari – computer and mobile.

Can you help me solve this?

To test it, you have to be logged in, see my next message..

    Thnx, Christiaan

    Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! I have checked your site and the mentioned pages. It turns out that these audio files were .wav files which might not be supported by Safari or with your web server. Please convert the audio file to .mp3 to make sure that it will be cross browser compatible.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

I converted these two files to mp3 already, but it did not solved the problem…

    What can we do?

    Hi there,

Your mp3 is playing fine on Safari on my end. Let’s try clearing your browser’s cache.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

There is actually no problem that I can replicate on my end. It’s playing fine on Safari. I am attaching a screencast from my end :

    Hi,

you were looking at the wrong audio’s, as mentioned above..

But, good news! I solved the problem: These file names contained umlauts. These umlauts caused the problem!

    Thnx for your time!
