    Please help me generate the API key needed for auto updates. I’ve followed the provided instructions but cannot generate an actual API key.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in.

    You don’t need to generate API Key anymore. You’ll just assign your domain to your purchase code on your license page. Please check this for more details.

    Okay. I had done that (see attached), but my particular issue is not resoloved. I’m experiencing the issue where the delete button in Cornerstone does not work. I read in the forum that it’s a known issue with the older version of Cornerstone in conjunction with the latest release of WordPress. However, when I try to update Cornerstone to version 1.2.4 it errors out claiming that my version of X is not validated.

    Can you help me fix this issue? It’s happening with both licenses of X (Ethos and Integrity) for two separate clients. Why does it not see that I’m validated?

    Hi there,

    Could you please try the following workaround.

    1. Revoke your API key from X Addons section (check the bottom of the page) and also remove it from your license page on Themeco.

    2. Temporary disable any caching plugins and purge all your server cache.

    3. Delete both X theme (/wp-content/themes/x) and Cornerstone plugin (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone) by connecting to your FTP (your settings will be saved in the database)

    4. Download the latest copy of X and upload it to your themes folder via FTP OR you can upload the x.zip via Appearance -> Themes section.

    5. Latest version of Cornerstone will be installed automatically when you head over X Addons section. Now you try validating your X theme again and then try to install any other extension and it should function properly.
