    When using link to open accordion item, i.e. http://myXsite.com/accordion/#collapse-1 the resulting anchor is positioned on expandable portion of the accordion item (div class=”x-accordion-body collapse in”).

    On longer accordion pages (when there is a lot of content below the fold) this means that the title of the linked accordion item (div class=”x-accordion-heading”) gets pushed off the screen. This is not user-friendly at all.

    Is it possible to make anchor position change from (div class=”x-accordion-body collapse in”) to (div class=”x-accordion-heading”)?

    Hey there,

    Thanks for writing in! It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

    I’ll forward this to our developer so that they can asses and improve this on future release.

    I think it needs to work this way from the start. It is just a question of anchor call positioning.

    Just want to bump this one.

    Got complaints from a over a dozen site visitors regarding getting disoriented on transition to long accordion pages, because the title is pushed up, off-screen.

    Please address this in the following releases.

    Loaded update 4.6.2. Anchor position is still below heading for accordion item.
