    Hello,

I added a view anchor links on different pages, by defining ID and then adding the link like for example: http://www.medibroad.com/destinations/#south-america

Unfortunately some of the links are not jumping to the exact spot which I defined as the anchor point.

    For example: http://www.medibroad.com/destinations/#south-america
    or: http://www.medibroad.com/destinations/#asia

Hope you can assist me with that problem.

Thanks in advance for any help,

    best regards,

    Moritz

    Hi Mortiz,

You wrote above that you define custom ID for those section? But I’m seeing a default ID that cornerstone generated. For example that South America section it has an ID of x-section-7 so your link should be http://www.medibroad.com/destinations/#x-section-7

Same thing for clincial Internship section it has an ID of x-section-5.

    Hope it helps, Cheers!

    Hello,

I tried it but its still not working. I changed the linkaddress to http://medibroad.com/destinations/#x-section-7 When clicking the link on the home-site now, nothing really happens.

When opening that link http://www.medibroad.com/destinations/#x-section-7 it is not jumping to the right place either.

    Please find the attached screenshot.

    Thanks in advance,

    Moritz

    Hello There,

After further investigation, I found out that there are invalid html codes on the page. This might be the cause why it is not redirecting to the right section. It turns out that you have used the essential grid shortcodes inside the text element which is not recommended. You should be using the Essential grid element instead. This would avoid any p or div tags from being added when you used a text element.

Please do edit your page and use the properly Essential Grid element within Cornerstone instead.

After that, we can check your page again for any other things that may have messed up the layout.
