    Hi guys,

    Again I have the same problem that happened 4 months ago with the automatic updates, for X and the plugins, not working for both my live site and a site in development. I have re-asigned the license to both sites and still the problem persists.
    I get this error message: An error occured when updating X. No available update archive.

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Hi there,

    It seems your security plugin is interfering since the update comes from third party server of Themeco. You can update the theme manually for now. You can download the installable theme from themeforest or here – https://community.theme.co/dashboard/

    You can just place the extracted theme folder x under wp-content/themes/ folder using FTP replacing the old theme folder.

    I have deactivated the security plugin and I still get the same error message: An error occurred while updating X: Update package not available.
    Besides, your concluion is not right as there is no security plugin on the site in development where the problem is also happening.
    As I have been experiencing this problem for months now, I had no choice but to stop recommending to my clients the use of X for their sites.

    Hello There,

    Thank you for the clarifications! I have investigated the issue and it turns out that you may have revoke or re assign the license code. So using my test license code, I have revoked and re validated your X theme. And then I went ahead and updated the X theme and other bundled plugins. You are now using the latest version. You may need to revoke and revalidate it again since my test license code is only valid for a certain amount of time (for validation testing purpose only).

    To properly revalidate X theme, please do the following:
    1] Please go to X Addons > Home and revoke the validation (https://s3.amazonaws.com/community-themeco/app/uploads/2016/04/17110514/Capture53.jpg).
    2] Please login to your account and revoke the license.
    3] After you have revoke the license, you need to re assign the license again to your site using this url: https://www.example.com/. You have to make sure that url you just assign is the same as the one you have in your settings, Settings > General > Site Address
    4] Go back to X Addons > Home again, and insert the license again.

    And please review the changes that we made on how you are going to validated your X theme because we made a big change in the process. Please check it out here: https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/

    Visual Composer v4.12.1 is the latest X compatible version (https://community.theme.co/kb/version-compatibility/). So you can safely ignore that notification.
