Is it possible to have one header layout on the homepage (or any specific page) and then for the rest of the site use a different header? The main things we would like to do are have the header transparent on some pages but not all, and change the logo color depending on the page as well. What is the best way to go about doing this? The default options seem to limit us to one setting for transparency and logo site-wide. Thanks!

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

Hi, basically, I would like to make the background of the top navigation bar transparent on the home page (we’ll be using a video background behind it) and then have a solid color behind it on all inner pages. We would also like the option to display a different logo on the homepage that goes with the transparent background better. Does that make sense?

For your home page, you can choose a page template with no header (i.e. Blank – No Container | No Header Footer) and then design your own header in Cornerstone. See https://community.theme.co/kb/page-templates/ for more details.

If you’re looking to customize the site-wide header itself or the one you setup in the Customizer, that is possible only with custom development which regretfully falls outside the scope of our support.

    Thanks.
