anthonyprobertParticipantHello,
I am having a ton of issues with the ALT Tags. I’ve attempted everything and no matter what I do SEO Quake and iSPY (an internal WEB.COM tool) will not pickup my ALT tags that I’ve gotten setup on my homepage. I’ve tried all of the solutions that I’ve come across on both Google and this forum is there something that I am missing?
The link is
http://www.escapeartistshfx.com 4.6.4 installed on the newest version with everything updated as of December 29th, 2016..

anthonyprobertParticipantHello Rupok,
Whenever I run tests on the website it always says that the images are not optimized or have ALT Tags. This happens when scan the website using SEO Quake as well as some other internal programs for a company that I work for.
It is starting to get to the point where I won’t be able to purchase anymore licenses and will have to look somewhere else for themes if this cannot be fixed. I’ve attempted to try everything that I could find bother on these forums as well as Google Searches for people with the same issues.. This is huge for SEO and if I am unable to have this done I’ll have to switch.
Thank you.

RadModeratorHi there,
May I know the result you’re getting? I can see ALT tags too. I will be happy to get information and analysis that I could forward to our developer 🙂
Thanks!

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for updating in! Before anything else, I noticed that you have inserted an invalid JS code. Please remove this line from your customizer > custom JS
<meta name="google-site-verification" content="WJH8giSE-gekkRkkIhy660OzhyMAkFsAxBsHgIZd8iQ" />Meta tags should only be added to the head tag of your site. You can install a 3rd party plugin, https://wordpress.org/plugins/header-footer/ and add that line for the header area.
Regarding the images, I am confused because SEO Quake says 26 images and when I check the source code of the page and look for the image tag, it only have 24 images and most of it has some alt tags.

Please let us know how it goes.

anthonyprobertParticipantExactly. I agree. I’ve removed the JS code but I am still having issues with the ALT tags… Any ideas at all that might warrant some assistance?

RadModeratorHi there,
What page does SEO Quake analyze? Example, the home page only contains 24 images, all of it has ALT tags. If I overlook some of it then at least the finding should be less than 24 images ( or even if there is no alt tag at all, then it should display 24 counts only ) and not 26 images as your screenshot. I need to know if I’m checking the correct page.
Maybe if SEO Quake can provide detailed report then that would be helpful, instead of just counts. Because I’m manually counting them and images has alt tags.
Thanks!
