marksmithersParticipantHi,
We have a custom user role. We’d like to be able to give that role the ability to create, edit and modify The Grid component. I can’t see how to do this. Is it possible? We’re using User Role Editor to try and grant the capability but The Grid doesn’t appear in there.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Mark

Rue NelModeratorHello Mark,
Thanks for providing the information. Regretfully theGrid plugin is for administrators only. If you want to enable it for other user roles, you might need to edit the plugin itself. I am not sure where or what files needs to be edited. This is something we can add to our list of feature requests. This way it can be taken into consideration for future development. All of these items are discussed with the plugin creator’s team internally and prioritized based on the amount of interest a particular feature might receive.
Thanks!

marksmithersParticipantHi Rue,
Thanks for the reply. Can you confirm if this is the same case for Essential Grid as well?
Cheers

Rue NelModeratorHello Mark,
Yes, it is true. You can not create any essential grid if you are not an administrator. You can add essential posts though.
Best Regards.
