NexLANParticipantHi – We noticed today that all our sidebar content of multiple types is gone from the live site. In the widgets editing area, the names of all the sidebars, about 20 of them, are still there – but when I click on them they are empty of all the content and code that used to be there. All the sidebar content was displaying properly two weeks ago on Dec. 14 for sure and we haven’t edited anything in the sidebars or menus since 1-2 weeks before that. I’m stumped.

JoaoModeratorHi There,
That is quite unusual, we haven“t heard of this issue lately.
You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
If that does not work please provide the credentials of one of your websites in a private reply so we can take a look.
Thanks
Joao

RupokMemberHi there,
Thanks for writing back. It seems somehow the widget were removed as there is no possibility to happen this automatically. A theme or plugin can’t change your widgets from the sidebars. Kindly assign them back since there is no simple way to address the issue now.
