    hey guys,

    All my widgets have been disappeared after I have just updated my x theme.

    Please help! I have worked on those widgets for weeks!!!!

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in! Are you using CloudFlare, CDN, CloudHosting or may have installed a caching plugin like WordFence, W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache? Please keep in mind that after doing every updates, always remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

    thanks for your reply.

    I am aware of this and I have cleared cache already from CDN (Sucuri) and from wordpress admin including w3 plugin. I did that right after updating the x theme. However, the problem sill exist.

    pls help.

    Hey Khalid,

    Did you switch themes recently? Or, switch to the parent X theme?

    Please also try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

    I have not switched to any other theme, and I also tried the plugin conflict thing, however it is irrelevant, all the widgets are disappeared from the admin not just the frontend. all stuff are just gone guys!!

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing back. I can see these widgets on widgets page – http://prntscr.com/cm7rk8 and seems they are showing on the front-end as well – http://prntscr.com/cm7rsy

    Are you referring other widget? Note that updating/deleting a theme doesn’t affect the widgets and it’s not related to the themes.

    it is working now! it is actually my bad! after I upgraded X theme, it got actiavted instead of he child one!

    sorry! you were right! all good now, however I have got another problem in the home page which I will address in different ticket
