Hi-

I am using the Renew stack of the X Theme. I have a child theme set. Currently all of my body copy and some of my navigation is set at italics. I want it to be regular. I cannot find where it is telling it to be italic. I have changed everything in the customizer but there is still some kind of override happening. Can you help me?

Hi Beth,

Thanks for writing in! It seems that you have something on the topbar that is causing this. Please check the content of your topbar and see if you properly close all the HTML tags in there.

Please provide us login credentials in private reply, if the issue persist.

Hi. Thank you for your insight. Yes, there is an italic not closed. Problem is, I cannot find where to locate that to fix it. I am using X theme, Renew Stack and Child theme.

When I look at page source, I see the following (site-specify areas xxx’d out) – You can see the un-closed <i>. I will change the <i> to and the <big> to and properly close everything, if I can find where it is located 🙁

OH MY GOODNESS – I found it!!!!!

whew. I didn’t see the area in customizer, but was looking in wrong place.

went here:
just go to Customizer > Header > Topbar Content and add following:

and then there was some code within the topbar content that had code added into it, with the unclosed italic.
