Hi,
I do use child themes on my wordpress sites.
For language adjustments I use this methode:
Rather than using a child theme, I upload the translation to /wp-content/langauges/themes in this format __x__-de_DE.po and __x__-de_DE.moThis worked for a long time.
With the latest X Update on multiple site the translation changes are no longer there.
I checked the __x__-de_DE.po and __x__-de_DE.mo files, which are there and correctly translated.Please advise,

Hello There,
In the latest release of X and Cornerstone, we have updated several keywords. This could be the cause of this issue. Please do update your .mo and .po files. To do that, please do the following:
1) Download X theme and Cornerstone plugin.
2) Open POEdit (https://poedit.net/).
3) Go To File->Preferences->Editor-> check “Automatically compile .mo file on save” and click OK
4) File → New catalog from POT file → Browse Plugin Folder → go to “languages” folder → If there are no files in the folder select from the lower-right “All files” option → Select the file that you want to Edit (file with PO extension)
5) In the newly opened dialog window → go to “Sources paths” tab → in Base path enter ../ instead of .
6) Go to Sources Keywords Tab → if there is no __ item in the list (double underscore) click on New Item → Enter __ and press Enter then OK .
7) Select the same file as the one you opened and click Save, click Yes when asks to replace
8) Click on Catalog (option from the top) and Update from sources → Then click OK
9) Update the file by translating the new text
10) When finished click on File → Save
11) Upload the translation files (both mo and po)Hope this helps.
