    Hi,

    I had very old version of theme. Maybe 2 years old and after update all background images, titles, buttons disappeared. They are in backend but they do not show in front end.

    I think this is directly related to Cornerstone. I had X – Shortcodes plugin before that and now all shortcodes are missing.

    Hi There,

    Thanks for writing in! There are major update happen on WordPress itself and so does in X|Theme, one of that is the Cornerstone. Cornerstone is taking over for X – Shortcodes, which you can read much more about here in detail.

    For now we advice that you restore the site on time before it was updated (working state). If you dont have a backup of it, please ask your hosting they might help you restore the site.

    Then duplicate your site on staging environment, and do your updates there. This way the live site will still work while we are working on the staging server.
