The admin bar is not showing for my site anymore. It was, and not it’s not. I disabled all plugins. I went to my profile and checked the box to “show admin bar on site” and when I hit save, the box is empty after saving. It’s like blocking me from turning it back on…

Note: this is only happening to one admin account. I created a second one and the bar is functional on that one.

That’s the problem. When I click that box and hit save, the box is empty again after it saves. I got this from my webhost:

Usually, when the admin-bar is missing on posts and you already disabled the plugins, it is related to the theme of the site.

I tested here and I found this error:

www: PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function x_get_view() in /var/www/eatrealfood.recipes/wp-content/themes/x/index.php on line 18

This error shows repeated multiple times in the last 2 days.

The other error related (that could cause this) is related to the plugin convertplus.

Note that exec() / exec.php or url_fopen functions have been disabled on Synthesis hosting for security reasons. We do support CURL as an alternative to url_fopen. Your plugin author should know if they are using these functions or not.

I recommend to you to check this errors and fix them in order to stabilize your site.

Hi there,

Those are not seems related to the issue. Can you switch to a default theme and check again? This is to make sure it’s related to the theme or not. Also you can try re-adding the account to save time and I believe it will work.
