Hi, I’d like to add text below the logo to appear like this:
New York City | Long Island, NY | Simsbury, CT

But I’m not used to doing this and need a little more direction.
It says:
“After that please duplicate x/framework/views/global/_brand.php to your child theme’s respective folder x-child/framework/views/global/ and in the duplicated file, replace all of the code with the following”When I enter my /views/global folder it says directory is empty so I’m not sure what I’m supposed to duplicate.

First of all, setup your child theme and activate it through Appearance -> Themes section.
Child theme is basically an empty structure with folders. You can copy the files from your parent theme to the child theme, so that the code will overwrite.
In this case, copy the file _brand.php which is located on your parent theme (x/framework/views/global/_brand.php) into your child theme’s respective location (x-child/framework/views/global/_brand.php). Then you can edit the code in your child theme as mentioned in the guide.
