I know this question has been variously addressed, but I’m very new to WordPress and would appreciate a simplified answer.
I’m trying to add a recent posts section to my home page. I’ve used the “recent posts” cornerstone element, but it only displays a tiny thumbnail with a truncated title. How do I have it display a more typical recent posts section where there’s a bigger thumbnail, a large text title and excerpt?

Hey there,
The Recent Post element spans the width of its container so the wider its container and the fewer the columns, the better. See attachment to see what the setup. Excerpt is not currently supported. That would require custom development which falls outside the scope of our support.
