    Hi,

    Do you recommend any working function for adding custom meta descriptions (using a custom field) for my pages, posts and custom post types?

    I don’t want to use Yoast SEO or any other plugin as they have come to the point of being bloatware and this is the only thing I need for SEO purposes.

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in! Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

    ok no worries, I was recommended this plugin as an alternative to Yoast. It’s very light and functional. Perhaps you should check it out for your purposes.
