AnnaTPhotoParticipantHi, I know I have to add the Pixel code to the Child Theme. I’ve downloaded the Child Theme, and when I activate it some of my Footer widgets stop working. It took me a very long time to get my website to where it is and I’m a complete novice when it comes to Child Theme etc – I could really do with some step-by-step idiot guide instructions (assuming I know nothing or where to find anything) to be able to do this. OR I just give you my log-in details! Whatever is easiest for you!
Thanks
Anna

AnnaTPhotoParticipantHi,
Thanks, but I’ve done all that already. That’s not the problem. The problem is some of my widgets in the footer stop working and I don’t know how to reactivate them. I also don’t know where the functions.php is. Like I said, I need an idiots guide.
ThanksJuly 25, 2016 at 1:20 am #1101407
RupokMemberHi there,
I am not sure how did you achieve this without knowing the functions.php location. It’s within your Child Theme’s root. As mentioned above; if you have any question then provide your URL and credentials so that we can have a look.
Thanks

DarshanaModeratorHi there,
Make sure that you have downloaded the latest version of child theme (https://community.theme.co/kb/how-to-setup-child-themes/). If you’re still having issues, we need to your FTP credentials to check your child theme setup.
Thanks!
