Hi, rookie question, i’m afraid, but am on go live and really up against it for timing, can you please tell me, where the email link icon is, on essential grid – what link do i put in so that the user’s mail is launched automatically?

Thanks for writing in! Unfortunately I am not sure which email icon you are referring as you didn’t provide your URL. Kindly follow the documentation of Essential Grid.

Hi, it’s on cew.org.au – and it’s a share post by email link that I need to code in. the link field is empty, so i just need to put a code in the link field that is going to enable the user to share the item by email. (ie, not to send an email to anyone in particular, just to ‘share’ it – it’s part of the social media icon set.

Thanks for updating in! Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by Essential Grid builder. You can only use custom meta data and only supply an email. What you have in mind could only be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
