Hello i would like to add my home page this button which you use on your demo web page as i read from the form this option must be in woocommerce however i couldnt find could you tell me the path how can i do this ? iłl attached picture thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! Head over to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Display and then you should be able to select the shop page and default sorting options.

thanks for helping 🙂 but now i have another problem .my side bar disapeard what should i do to bring them back ? i mean its not what i supposed to do i wanted do it like your demo site i will attached both pichter to you thanks in advance

Upon checking your site, you didn’t add sidebar yet. Actually you added sidebar with content bands which wouldn’t give you the result that you’re looking for. Follow this article https://community.theme.co/kb/unlimited-sidebars to add sidebar.

i have already created a side bar also have additionally mainside bar when i use visual composer i can create a widget area but when i want to show my products with visual composer its showing whole and without deafult sorting options when i change woocommerce prduct display option to point my home page there is additional product area appear something is wrong i guess all of those things working it self theme customisation panel itself woocommerce itself visualcomposer itself and i am stuck i dont know what should i do. i will attached all pictures maybe you can understend whats going on more clearly

Hi there,

You’re using woocommerce shortcode to create custom shop page, While ‘Default Sorting’ option is available for default shop page. Please select shop page under Woocommerce -> Settings -> Products -> Display -> Shop .

but my shop page is my home page so everything fine with that problem must be because of something diffrent .

Hi there,

Currently home page and shop page is the same. The issue is that you added content to shop page which caused duplicated products. ‘Default srting’ option couldn’t be displayed on top of shortcodes.

I added a new page titled ‘Shop’ and set it as your shop page, please see https://www.thegeek365.com/shop
To display sidebar on shop page, I set shop layout to Global under Customize -> Woocommerce
