    Hi,

    I have been using Cornerstone to build my website. However, I am not able to alter the content in the footer or add an newsletter button to my header. I want to enter my contact information in the footer. How do I do this? I do not know code (I tried Appearance/customize/footer content). I would also like to add a think newsletter opt-in strip to the header.

    Hello Mary,

    Thanks for writing in! You can enable the footer widget areas or the header widget areas. Within this widget areas, you can add a text widget in Appearance > Widgets and be able to insert your newsletter opt-in shortcode. If you do not have one yet, you may need to install something like Email Forms, (https://community.theme.co/kb/extension-email-forms/) which you can install from X Addons > Extensions.

    At this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

    Thank you for the information regarding the Header newsletter opt-in.

    My main question is how to change the footer content. There is an example logo and contact information in the footer. I want to add my logo and contact information. I do not know code.

    Hi there,

    You can change the Footer content from Customize > Footer > Footer Content . Also you can change the Footer Widgets from Appearance > Widgets and check what you have placed on Footer widget areas.

    If you need more tailored answer then provide your URL as asked on previous reply.

    Hi,

    I do not know code and as far as I can tell, you can’t type the content directly into the content box. All I want to do is add my contact information and replace the example info.
